MBTA (Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority)The MBTA services over 1.1 million riders each day. On the South Shore the MBTA offers the subway, the commuter rail, commuter boats, and many bus routes. The Greenbush commuter rail line is scheduled to open in late 2006 and will provide service from Boston through the Braintree, Weymouth, Hingham, Cohasset and Scituate. |
